Anthony T. Ng, M.D. - Dr. Ng is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and an adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor with the NYU School of Nursing. He is a board-certified psychiatrist who is director of Reich, Ng and Associates, L.L.C., an emergency medical management consulting firm. He is also a psychiatrist with the DC Department of Mental Health Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP). he is currently on the board of American Association of Community Psychiatrists and he is the Chair of the American Psychiatric Association Committee on Psychiatric Dimensions of Disaster. He has a lengthy history of involvement and advocacy in community mental health, cross cultural issues, community system issues, substance abuse and homeless issues. He is also involved in community mental health and disaster mental health. He was the former Chairperson for the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) Multicultural Advisory Committee, which advised the Commissioner of Mental Health on issues of cultural competency within the OMH system. He has extensive experiences in disaster mental health. Dr. Ng has presented numerous lectures and written extensively in the area of disaster mental health, crisis management, cross cultural issues homelessness and substance abuse issues.
